Indigenous Peoples’ Stories of Climate Change

Mitigating the impacts of climate change on food security for the world’s most vulnerable populations, Indigenous Peoples, is our first priority. We are honored to partner with First Peoples Worldwide.

We are highlighting work supported by First Peoples Worldwide’s small grants programs. Strategic grants are made to Indigenous community-led projects that address challenges of Food Security and Climate Change. Solutions leverage the communities’ intrinsic assets — including traditional knowledge; land and biodiversity; people, and culture — to create innovative and lasting solutions. All grantees track and report on progress using First Peoples’ rigorous and culturally-relevant measurement tools.
